These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website zoomiespetservices.com and related online materials operated by Zoomies Pet Services (“Zoomies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the site or requesting services through it, you agree to these Terms.

About Zoomies
Zoomies provides dog walking, in-home pet sitting, and half-day adventure services in and around Charlottesville, Virginia. Details of any booking (dates, pets, rates, keys/access, and care instructions) are confirmed separately by email, text, phone, or written agreement.
Website use
You may use this site for lawful purposes only—to learn about our services and to contact us. You agree not to misuse the site (including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it aggressively, submit harmful content, or impersonate others).
Website content (text, branding, layout, and photos we own or are licensed to use) is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse site content for commercial purposes without our written permission, except for ordinary personal viewing and sharing links to our pages.
Inquiries and bookings
Submitting the contact form, emailing, texting, or calling us is a request for information or services—not an automatic confirmation of a booking. We may accept, decline, or propose alternatives based on availability, pet fit, safety, and other factors. A booking is confirmed only when we expressly confirm it with you.
Accurate information matters. You agree to provide truthful contact details and care information about your pets (including health, behavior, and access instructions) so we can provide services safely.
Rates and payment
Service rates and payment terms are communicated when you book (or in a separate agreement). Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due as we specify for that booking. Late or failed payment may result in paused or cancelled future services.
Pet care limitations
Pet care involves inherent risks. While we provide attentive, caring service, we cannot guarantee outcomes (for example that a pet will never escape, fight, become ill, or damage property). You remain responsible for your pets and for disclosing known risks (aggression, medical conditions, escape history, etc.).
Emergency decisions may be made in good faith to protect a pet’s welfare (including contacting you, an emergency contact, or a veterinarian). You agree to be responsible for reasonable emergency costs unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Photography
With your permission, we may photograph pets during services for client updates and/or marketing (including the website gallery). You can withdraw permission for future marketing use by emailing us. Removal of already published photos may take a reasonable amount of time.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The site is hosted on Squarespace and may link to third-party sites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
Disclaimers
The website is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties regarding uninterrupted access, error-free content, or fitness for a particular purpose of the website itself. Service-specific promises, if any, are only those we confirm for a particular booking.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, Zoomies and its owner are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use. Our total liability related to website use is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for services in the three months before the claim or (b) $100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Zoomies harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, inaccurate information you provide, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes relating to the website will be in courts located in Virginia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
